The Golden State Valkyries aren't quite ready to reveal their plans ahead of Friday's Expansion Draft, but the team also isn't denying allegations that they might be up to something "sneaky."

In a post shared to Instagram Wednesday, the team's social media department clarified a few rumors surrounding Friday's draft. Most of the questions were about the draft rules and parameters, and the team also shared that they will show off uniforms soon.

On the final slide of comments, one person said, "The fact that the backgrounds are black and purple is giving very sneaky, very 'yall finna be wheeling and deal'" to which the Valkyries answered with a single emoji: the appropriately purple and black devil 😈.

There are any number of responses and takeaways that can be drawn from the use of one emoji, and it's clear the team is having fun in the build up to the draft. Rumors are flying about which players will and will not be drafted on to the new team, and it really only benefits the Valkyries to have the team's name in the news as much as possible.

For example, on Tuesday ESPN's WNBA analyst Kevin Pelton predicted the team will draft Elena Delle Donne from the Mystics. During an interview on ESPN Daily, host David Dennis asked, "All right, Kevin, I'm putting you on the spot. Who is going to be the first member of the Golden State Valkyries?"

Pelton quicky answered, "I'm gonna go ahead and predict it. I mentioned it earlier. Elena Delle Donne, I'm gonna say Washington maybe doesn't have a protector. She might retire if she just stays there. So, you know, they leave her out there, and Golden State goes ahead and takes her and tries to convince her to play."
