How, when to watch Kate Martin and other Valkyries play this offseason

Nearly every player is hitting the court, and most of the games are available online

There are still several months between now and the beginning of the WNBA season in May, but that doesn't mean the Golden State Valkyries are sitting at home biding their time. In fact, every single player except Kayla Thornton (who played three games overseas during the offseason before coming back to the United States) is playing somewhere right now, whether it's in France, Turkey, Australia, or Miami, Florida.

Many fans are well aware that Kate Martin will be playing in Florida for Unrivaled, but might not be as aware of where other Valkyries are currently stationed. Here's where you can watch (almost) all of the Valkyries play during the WNBA offseason.

Iliana Rupert, Çukurova Basketbol, Turkey

Rupert, who has frequently played in Europe during the offseason, is currently playing in Turkey. She joined the team after departing Virtus Bologna in 2024. Rupert, who hails from French basketball royalty, also played with the Atlanta Dream in 2023.

You can stream Rupert's games live on the TBF channel on YouTube.

Maria Conde, USK Praha, Czechia

Though Conde was drafted by the Sky in 2019 she has yet to actually play on a WNBA court in the United States. Instead, she has played four seasons with USK Praha.

It's not clear Conde will be able to make the jump from Czechia to the Bay Area in the 2025 season. If USK Praha makes it to EuroBasket this summer, she will be participating in the tournament, which runs from August 27 to September 14 — right at the end of the WNBA season and before playoffs.

Fans can catch Conde's games on the EuroLeague Women YouTube channel.

Veronica Burton, Bendigo Spirit, Australia

Burton was drafted by the Wings in 2022 and was waived in 2024 after playing 76 games with the team. She spent a season in Poland playing for AZS UMCS Lublin before she signed with Bendigo Spirit in Australia this year.

The Spirit's games stream on the team's WNBL website.

Temi Fagbenle, Besiktas JK, Turkey

It's hard to believe the 2024 season was Fagbenle's first in the WNBA considering she became such an integral part of the Fever, but she actually has more experience playing overseas. Fagbenle first played for the London Lions and has since rotated between teams in Poland, Italy, and Spain. Right now she's playing in Turkey for Besiktas JK.

Fans can watch some Besiktas games on the FIBA YouTube channel.

Julie Vanloo and Cecilia Zandalasini, Galatasaray SK, Turkey

Valkyries fans have a lot to look forward to once Vanloo and Zandalasini hit the court together, because the pair have already played together for Galatasaray SK in Istanbul.

Galatasaray SK games are available on the FIBA YouTube channel.

Carla Leite, Villeneuve d’Ascq, France

Leite was drafted 9th overall by the Wings in 2024 but hasn't yet greeted a WNBA court with both feet. Instead, she's been playing for Villeneuve d’Ascq in France, and it's not clear at the moment if she will come to the States to play during the Valkyries' first season.

Villeneuve d'Ascq games stream on the EuroLeague Women YouTube channel.

Stephanie Talbot, Adelaide Lightning, Australia

Talbot was drafted by the Mercury in 2017 but had already been playing professionally in Australia by that time. After spending a few seasons in France and Poland, she returned to Australia ahead of the 2019 season and has remained since.

Adelaide Lightning games can be watched on the WNBL website.

Monique Billings, Guangdong Vermilion Birds, China

Billings is playing in China for the first time since 2019 this season, which is also her first in the Women's Chinese Basketball Association. She most recently played with the Mercury in the WNBA and also has previous experience on the Wings and the Dream.

Unfortunately, there's no easy way for fans to watch Billings' games live, but you can keep her with her stats here.

Kate Martin, Unrivaled

Martin is the lone Valkyrie who will be playing in Unrivaled, which kicks off in Miami on January 17. Monday and Friday Unrivaled games will air on TNT, and Saturday games will air on truTV.

Unrivaled games will also stream on Max.
